Welcome to the trip planning pages, the bit where we make it easier to choose your pousadas and plan your trip in Brazil, one of the largest and most amazingly diverse countries in the world.
You’ve made the decision to come, and maybe you know more or less which part of Brazil you want to go to, but what next? Which pousadas are the best ones within your budget, and which ones can you travel between easily if you only have limited time for your trip?
We’ve been through all of these issues and had to sort it all out the hard way. So, presuming you don’t have the time to make all our mistakes these are the best groupings of pousadas we have found so far, with a handy calculator at the end so you have a ball park figure of what it might cost going in low season- usually outside December- March, July and national holidays.
