It was immensely comforting to have options for transport, accommodation and activities offered by someone with such a sound knowledge both of the Portuguese language and the country and customs of Brazil. Your capacity to make smooth arrangements for our diverse party, with the particular needs of teenagers and vegetarians taken into account, was impressive. The pousadas were splendid: beautifully situated, clean and inexpensive and we had a real sense of seeing a side of Brazil that is not available to most travellers.
